Toronto Wedding Photography | Marriott Rogers Centre Wedding | Tammy & Mike

Revisiting Tammy & Mike's beautiful wedding brings back some great memories. It must have been the absolute hottest day of the year. You couldn't tell by looking at Tammy & Mike though, they were cool as cucumbers and were soaked in bliss. They had a lovely outdoor ceremony located right in front of the Rogers Centre (it'll always be the SkyDome to me though) in the heart of downtown Toronto. Immediately after their ceremony, we whipped around the stadium to do some creative portraits. The Toronto Blue Jays had just finished defeating the Tampa Bay Rays and the crowds were pouring out.

We politely approached the fine staff there and asked if we could get access to take some photos inside the stadium and they happily agreed! This was beyond awesome as Tammy & Mike were huge Blue Jays fans (myself included!!). So after going into a private box and get some fun shots with their wedding party, they made sure to take a moment and soak in the experience.

Afterwards we headed to Yonge & Dundas for a portrait at the scramble crosswalk and then headed off to Jazz Bistro around the corner for a lovely reception and to dance the night away!

It was an amazing day filled with amazing experiences!

Oakville Harbour Wedding Photography | Jennifer + James

There is are few things that are better than a wedding that turns into a party. When I say party...I mean a PARTY. Jennifer + James was definitely one for the books.

I've actually known Jennifer for a good number of years (more than I'd like to admit as I can't believe that much time has passed), and have also got to know James when the first got together. These two are a fun, energetic pair who just compliment each other perfectly.

When you pair that with Macedonian & Italian families, and wild wedding party - awesomeness ensues. By the end of the night the dress shirts were gone, the Rafael Nadal bandanas were in effect, and the hoisting had begun.

It was truly the definition of celebration.

Ok, so I'm horribly late with posting this wedding (amongst other weddings, I know!). But, I have to make sure this awesomeness made it on, no matter what.

Ariane + Randal are an adorable couple who have such great energy and passion. If you look through the engagement portfolio you'll see some of their photos from their colour bomb engagement session (TONS OF FUN!).

Their wedding day was just as magical. Held at the beautiful Whistle Bear Golf Club on a sunny fall day, and gorgeously styled by the wonderful Et Lofte Events. Their personality was incorporated throughout. My personal favourite touch was all the board games that were put out for guests to play during the cocktail hour (Operation!!!). Being the superstars that they are, they even braved the cold autumn night to sneak out during the dancing to take some stunningly beautiful night portraits.

I had a chance to see them both again about six months ago, to photograph a mini shoot for them as a little maternity session. All the great memories of that day came flooding back, and it was an honour to continue to tell the story of their new family.

I know by now, the new little addition has arrived, so congrats to you both!

Julie + Richie are two awesome people.

I had the pleasure to meet them a few years ago while they were a part of a family portrait session. That entire day was non-stop fun so I knew we were going to be in for a treat when they asked me to photograph their wedding day. A little bit north of Toronto, they had a lovely intimate backyard ceremony that featured beautiful details from gorgeous hand written signs, and stunning lace accents over Julie's feet (she walked barefoot down the aisle). After the ceremony we headed over to a local park for some Wedding Party photos, and then to a nearby community centre where the party truly kicked off (including yours truly being ambushed by the guests for a fun dancing session!). Just last month I had the pleasure of seeing Julie + Richie again, this time as guests at their friend's wedding. It was great to see their smiles and to reflect on the amazing time everyone had on their wedding day.

I've been really horrendous with keeping this part of the site up to date lately, but the peak season is now over. I have some amazing photographs and stories to share on what an incredible year it as been. Now with some more time, I'll be sure to be posting more often so keep your eyes peeled!
